Prototype Boomlight Speaker
This is a prototype Boomlight: a custom-built bluetooth portable speaker that visualizes the music with rhythmic lighting through its clear housing. It has an onboard arduino doing simple signal processing to perform beat detection on the music being played.
The shield for the arduino helps reduce the already cluttered prototype wiring, and was hand manufactured from start to finish. The PCB design was done in Eagle, and the board was cut in a "Bantam Tools Othermill." The soldermask was applied using vacuum-sealing UV application. This was an in house PCB manufacturing method I developed for Busek.
