Savor Robotics: Food Automation
Heston is an automated food assembly robot under development by Savor Robotics. It is also my Robotics capstone project, and our capstone team will continue to work on this project until graduation. Savor robotics is a company in its infancy started by one of my capstone teammates. Two of the robot's main subsytems for this prototype are the ingredient dispensing system, and the robotic arm. I was responsible for design and development of the ingredient dispensing system.
Development of the ingredient dispensing system involved designing with throughput, manufacturability, cross-contamination, and ingredient variety in mind.
