Hello and welcome! My name is Benjamin Stern and I am a recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Robotics (May 2020).
I have eight years of experience fabricating my own designs, and my goal is to improve people's lives through R&D in robotics and mechanical engineering.

When I'm not engineering, I can be found outside: biking, playing tennis, hiking, or picnicking.
If I can't be outside, you can find me making music, listening to music, or watching films with friends.
My older sister and I were raised in The Greater Boston Area by my two parents. I attended Newton South High School and knew from an early age that I wanted to be an inventor. In high school I ran varsity cross country, played JV tennis, and participated in school theater during the rest of my free time. In college, outside of my studies and research, I sang baritone, served as VP and eventually President of The Originals (an a cappella group from Carnegie Mellon). Throughout my life, our parents have taken us on trips to many countries around the world. I am so grateful for those trips, and they have instilled in me an appreciation for each chance to widen my worldview.
